At Least its Not MY kid

I've been thinking that lately...... I was in Walmart the other day and a mother with 2 young kids was trying to grocery shop and the kids were about 2 years old The little girl was screaming her head off. Randomly for no reason but just to scream and the boy was chewing on everything. I with my 3 month old that was not only quiet as a mouse but happy to smile and greet everybody that came near him. Although this meant he didn't want to sit in his car seat.

Tonight at practice one of the ballplayers for my sons team was in a nasty mood. He is the grandson of the coach and was giving him attitude the ENTIRE practice. I thought to myself at least that's not my child. My child can be challenging BUT there is never any attitude and nastiness. How I lucked out with that I don't know

Melted Crayons in the Back Seat Window...

Ahhh.. the great reason we have kids is for all the joy and love they give us and then there's the creative ways to figure out how to solve problems you never thought you would every have to solve. Yesterday we went to the park and I noticed there were crayons in the back window on the ledge. On further inspection they were MELTED to the fabric on that ledge.....

Hmm still haven't figured out how to solve this problem as of yet......the material is looking as colorful as Joseph's technicolor dreamcoat. Any suggestions!?!?

The Craziness Of Motherhood....

Somehow my mother made it look easy and she was by no means Martha Stewart or anything like that. I grew up in a middle class neighborhood and my friends were all like that. We didn't have the internet back then so somehow us kids managed to find something to do. The kids in the neighborhood were nice but had their faults.

Now that I'm a mother I want that wholesome live but its since passed us by and we are in the age of electronics and organized play dates.

I had one child and he's a handful. It seemed uncommon then to see kids with different problems so common place. But then I guess its not THAT normal as most kids are in a NORMAL classroom learninf normal stuff and have no problems. Mine isn't like that ....... and yet he's seems normal.

THey say everybody has a story and well yeah I guess I do also......

I should be a strong advocate for children with special needs and single parents

I should be a strong advocate on health care proxy and having someone advocate for you in the hospital

I guess I'll be using this blog and my soap box when I feel the need to go off.
